Buying TV Shows

CBS and NBC have recently struck deals with different cable and satellite companies to sell their TV programs. The prices are ranging from $.99 to $1.99. I just want to know where this stops. You already have to pay for cable or satellite and pay all of the related taxes and equipment rentals and now they want you to have to pay to watch their shows. They boast that it will be an on demand service that will last for a week after the program has originally aired. I would just rather use a TIVO or a good old fashioned VCR and watch it on demand. I just think it is getting out of hand.

This stops when you and I stop being willing to pay for more stuff. It can be a pain for us as individuals, but it is a good sign for the economy as a whole.
