1 Square Inch of Land for Sale at $1,500

I just thought that this article was pretty funny. At the price of $1,500 per square inch, this piece of land in southwest Indiana is some of the priciest real estate in the world. Yes, I said the world. First of all, even after reading this article I fail to understand why this piece is so pricey. Let’s just hope that this doesn’t spread to our backyard.

This has got to be some kind of joke! The price of real-estate has risen considerably, but this is absurd. If anyone purchases this square inch piece of land in Indiana of all places they should have their head checked. Someone should tell the people trying to sell this piece of land to talk to the folks in China who purchased a piece of land on the moon. I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to convince them to buy this piece of property. At least they would be able to come see the land they purchased. For those of you who have looked to purchase property in Las Vegas or southern California lately you might think $1500 for a square inch is a steal.

First of all what is so special about Indiana that would command a price like that? I thought that the price of land here was expensive but I guess not after reading this article. I wonder if they have had any takers.

I can't link to the original article, but I'd have to say there must be some kind of joke here.

The reason it costs so much is because the minimum amount a parcel of land must cost in Owen County Indiana is $1500. Also, I have a funny fact about this square inch of land.A disc jockey from Palestine tried to make it an official state of Palestine.
