Is Martha's Company In Trouble?

In the article Martha a buy? Not so fast ... it talks about how Martha Stewart's stock has fallen since she was released from prison. The stock has declined to be worth less than $10 a share. Since Martha Stewart's legal problem arose the company has lost $60 billion. Also Martha Stewart Living magazine has had a 50% decrease in the amount of ads that have been sold.

Is Martha Stewart in big trouble? I think that investors are just cautious right now and soon Martha will be on top again.

Check your math - $60B is an awful lot of money to attribute to Martha Stewart.

Also, it isn't very informative to say that the stock dropped below $10. What if it had been at $11 for a while, or at $21? Context makes that number meaningful, and there wasnt' enough in the post.

Martha is a household name and it should be she has created some wonderful things for all of us to enjoy. I don't see Martha Stewart going anywhere but up. As long as she can keep her nose clean. Honesty is always the best policy. And that's a very good thing!
