I'm Sick and Tired

When I was a young boy I always heard my parents say "I'm Sick and Tired", and I would laugh at them, but now that I'm a dad with responsibility I'm sick and tired. I'm sick and tired everything going up in price and my wages staying the same. I'm sick and tired of others trying to tell me how to think, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Get a new job. Change what your sick of. Life is what you make of it. Think positively!

-1 on Bart's post for no link (I hate to do that because I agree with him, but it's my policy).

Bart's feeling is an example of tragedy of the commons - which we will be covering in an experiment soon. A parent (typically) is a public good from the perspective of the rest of the family - and public goods tend to get abused. This is one of the reasons why families with well defined roles or jobs for members, and reasonable links between carrots and sticks report that they are more happy. (Note that this doesn't necessarily mean that they have to be gender-specific or gender-traditional roles, just roles that are understood by everyone).

We all feel this way at some point or another. We need to evaluate where we're at in life, where we really want to go, and then make choices and plans to reach that point. This is better than running through the same stuff every day and nothing ever changing. Make your own changes-no one else is going to do it for you. You may have to incur some additional costs in the meantime, but these costs will eventually turn into some greater benefits.

Being sick and tired is why I’m in college. I’m tired of the low wages I get paid because I don’t have a college education yet. I am, most defiantly, sick of everything going up in price when only making eight bucks. I hate that I work all week long for eight dollars an hour and it’s gone before I know it.
It comes down to weighing our opportunity costs and deciding what will get us where we want to be in the long-run. We pay the price now and we hopefully get what we want in the end.

There seems to be truth in both the post and all the comments. Yes, we all get sick and tired with different things but you just "Keep on, keeping on." For every dark night there seems to be a bright day.

I would also have to agree with the comments. I am also sick and tired of everything. Especially the prices going up and not being to be able to afford stuff. Basically I am just sick and tired of everything to.

Prices are going to get higher, college classes will get harder, more and more responsibility will be placed on you. Deal with it, it is how you grow. This is the life I chose, you should enjoy today, because life probably will get harder. This is not a bad thing; hard life will become the standard in your life. When good times come around, they will seem that much more pleasant.
