Online banking saves people time!

Online banking saving people time and money. Personally online banking saves me tons of time everyday. I pay bills, manage a credit card, and check my account balance in a matter of minutes! I can’t see how people lived so long without online banking. In the article “Click! online banking usage soars!” it says that 53 million Americans use online banking or about 44% of total internet users. In total can you believe how much time online banking saves America? This is just another classic example of our economy going forward by making things easier! God bless technology!

This technology is wonderful, i agree. I remember when I was younger, once or twice a month, my mom would spend an entire evening writing checks, licking the envelopes, and so on... It seems so archaic now. I pay all of our monthly bills in a matter of minutes. No stamps, no envelopes, just a click here and a click there. It is so efficient and reliable.

I am curious how secure online bill pay is as well. I bank online, but I have yet to use bill pay or some form of other payment methods. I definately agree with the post though online banking technology has saved huge amounts of time for people with better things to do than worry about account balances.

Online banking is convenient for Americans, and this is why it is such a time saver. I think that online banking is limiting the job of a teller because it is losing its value for customer service.

I wonder if you're counting all the costs. I'm pretty tech savvy, and have tried online banking repeatedly over the last 13 years, and I'm still not convinced that it works better than using Quicken or Money at home.

I forgto to mention that this may actually be because I can type quick enough to make point-and-click systems pointless.
